With 20 years of experience, Isabelle is a barista and co-owner of Café Paquebot in Gaspé. As co-founder of the Feminista Barista Jam, she created a landmark inclusive competition in Montreal. Now completing a master’s in International Cooperation, she focuses on women’s empowerment and building lasting international solidarity within the coffee value chain.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Co-owner and barista at Tunnel Espresso, Elsa is a cornerstone of Montreal’s specialty coffee scene. Her business development background blends passion with a dynamic entrepreneurial vision. From event coordination to wellness management, she brings technical and human excellence to Montreal’s coffee culture.

Cheryl Hung (Vice President) is an insights consultant at Dig Insights with two decades of market research experience in food & beverage, retailer and non-profit sectors.
At Dig, she leads the National Coffee Association and Coffee Association of Canada’s coffee tracking work and has served as a Board Member for the Coffee Coalition for Racial Equity (2020-2022).
In 2023, she spoke at the Specialty Coffee Association’s Re:Co Symposium.
Cheryl’s expertise in data and coffee has been published in Coffee People Zine, Go Fund Bean and the SCA’s 25 magazine. She prefers to take her coffee black!
Cynthia Elie

Cynthia Elie is the co-founder of Café Bistro Manioky, built alongside her daughter, where she creates cultural spaces inspired by Afro-Caribbean heritage that bring people together across communities. With a background from HEC Montréal and McGill, she combines strategic thinking with execution on the ground.
The granddaughter of a Haitian coffee farmer, she is developing a coffee farm in Thiotte, Haiti, with a vision to build a more inclusive coffee ecosystem that amplifies women’s voices across the value chain.
